Forgefix ForgeFast Torx Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw Zinc Yellow 5.0 x 50mm Tub 600 – FORFFT550YT Details
The Forgefix ForgeFast Wood Screws is a universally accepted screw that can be used within a number of applications and materials with a Torx compatible drive. The Screws have an anti-friction thread for reduced splitting of the timber, reduced ‘jacking’ and spinning of joined timber and improved drawing strength and a serrated thread for improved pull-out and reduced torque when inserting the screw.
Forgefix’s Woodscrews have 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, and reinforced countersunk necks which improve holding power. With a double cutting point, the screws allow for faster drilling time and reduced clogging of wood dust whilst also being capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. The screws have a ‘Elementech 400’ coating providing an anti-corrosive metal finish, which lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings making them environmentally friendly and are salt spray tested to 400 hours.
